Austin Child Photographer | Jennifer Cherry Photography bio picture
  • Welcome to my blog!

    Hi, I'm Jennifer. Thank you for stopping by! I am blessed to be able to do what I LOVE. I have loved taking photos for as long as I can remember; babies are my favorite because they grow so fast. I am a wife to an amazing husband, a mother to two beautiful children, and a daughter and sister to a wonderful family. I love having the opportunity to tell stories of love and family. I am a fun and stylish natural light photographer. For 2013, I'd like to focus on maternity, newborns and children with special needs. Please contact me directly to see if you're eligible for my JCP plan. I would love the opportunity to capture memories that will be cherished for generations.

Yoga Inspired {Maternity}

I just love Austin, Texas!  There are so many beautiful places to photograph families and children.  This particular session took place on a local neighborhood trail in the South West Austin area.  We had to postpone the session an hour due to heavy looking rain clouds; they were so dark, it was better to be safe than sorry:)  Not only did it not rain but by the time it started looking nicer outside the sun was too high in the sky for what I would consider an ideal time to shoot.  However, after much discussion we decide to go ahead with the session and I couldn’t be happier with the way the images turned out.  We found some nicely shaded areas and I was able to use the Texas sun to my advantage.   It was a win-win:)
